How to Get There and Other Informations About Alicante

Once you arrive to Alicante Airport or Train Station, follow the signs to baggage claim / ground transportation.

From the Airport

There will be primarily two ways to get from the Airport to the University of Alicante: Taxi or Bus and Tram (Rail).

• Taxi: You can get to University of Alicante within 20 minutes by taxi, the cost is approximately 20€ (depending on traffic).
• Taxi Location & Information: Taxis will line up outside of both Arrivals and Departures. The official Alicante Airport taxis are operated by Radio Taxi Elche and can be identified by the green strip and coat of arms of Elche. Contact: +34 965 42 77 77. Operating hours: 09:00 to 01:00.
• Bus: There is a single bus stop for all lines at the second level (Departures) of the main terminal. Bus Line C6 runs from the Airport to downtown Alicante every 20 minutes (night service hourly from 00:00 to 05:00). It stops at Luceros and Mercado TRAM Stations which connect to lines 1, 2, 3, and 4. Line 2 to San Vicente takes you directly to the University.

From the Train Station

• Taxi: Travel time is about 20 minutes to the University, at a cost of approx. 15€.
• Taxi Location & Information: Taxis wait outside the station. Company: Radio Taxi Alicante. Contact: +34 965 25 25 11.
• Public transport: Use Bus Line 24 or Tram Line 2.
